I bought this based on 3 reasons: a) good reviews on amazon, b) best buy from which? and c) it has bluetooth headphones. The player itself produces excellent sound, I was a little concerned about the headphones compared to the in-ear phones but their sound is very good- I use the bluetooth headphones all the time now. You pay a bit more for them but to have no wires dangling from your head is worth every penny. They do seem a bit fragile but just look after them. The sony software is very good too ... Read More

Bought this player to replace my old 2GB MP3 player also from Sony. I have always like Sony as their products are always of the highest quality. The same goes to this slick walkman. My first impression when I opened the box was "wow". The design was modern and stylish and the wireless headphone fits comfortably. This device knocks everything out of the current gen ipods.
We have to consider it as on par with the likes of the ipod for being the best multimedia players out there today.
I bought this Sony Walkman after 5 years of being entertained by the Sony NW-a1000 which i have to say is fab as well in terms of looks and sound.

I have owned 3 ipod nanos before this Sony Player and i thought they were the best thing after sliced bread, but after doing lenghy research and finally buying this great music player i think otherwise. Sound Quality is 10/10, Design 10/10, Battery life 10/10, headphone (including bluetooth) 10/10, therefore as you may guess overall 10/10. I deliberatly delayed writing a review until I had used everything on this player. And after 3 months, I still love it!
The player is tiny and fits into my pockets without looking daft. The sound quality is excellent. The video quality is great! The headphones completely make the package as it's great to do chores or run with them on and not have cords get in the way. (It does come with earbuds too)
