If you have bought 1 of these, you've been ripped of.
Dark Alex who created this had given the information of the battery out for free when it good leaked by 1 of the member, and suddenly 'Datel' are profiting from these that they did not creat;
but if you don't no any 1 with a home-brew enabled psp then your best luck is to buy 1 or ask someone from a psp forum to send 1 for a lower price.
Rating: - Does exactly what you want, if you know how.
This product works great, it does exactly as it's advertised to, opens up the PSP 1000 or 2000 into the PSP Service Menu. Now, from this service menu you can install custom firmware or perform system maintenance. Another use for this battery is to un-brick a psp that has bricked due to a software fault.
A great product, but just remember, in order to install custom firmware you need to create a magic memory stick, this isn't too difficult and you can find out how on the internet.

This product worked a treat and did exactly what I needed it to. Be careful to follow instructions explicitly.

I ordered this on a friday night, and chose the super saver delivery option, expecting to wait around 3-5 days for it to arrive. However, the delivery was very prompt and it arrived the next morning!
I had no problems with the tool at all, and would recommend it to anyone who knows what they are doing with it.

If you know what to use it for, its the best you can find. 5 stars. I got a black one which looks a lot cooler than the red picture as well.
