I bought this player because it was the only I could find on the market which had a built in FM transmitter. The look and feel of it is good and stylish, and it is simple to use. However, I would not recommend this product because of its build quality and questionible reliability. So far I have had to return it twice, Firstly because it kept freezing and would not switch on or off (when they repaired it they said it needed a fireware update), Secondly, the car charger stopped working, and thirdly, ... I bought this mp3 player with some trepidation having read a few bad reviews about how you cannot shuffle play your music. I need not have worried - more of that later.

I bought the 8GByte version. The good news is the player does what I bought it for - transmitting to the car radio. This works well and is much more satisfactory than using an external fm sender unit.
Everything else is lousy. The quality of the unit very poor, the headphone socket crackles and the lock switch is inaccessible due to poor construction. Rating: - The Good, The Bad & The Ugly
The Good... I bought this purely for the FM transmitter - (new car without other means of connection) The quality of the FM is excellent (and most of these devices are terrible) -no horrible trailing cables and adaptors- , one touch activation. The radio receiver is superb as well - the best I've ever heard on an MP3 type device.
The Bad ...- 'A bit of a 'No-namo' brand - horrible website, don't answer e-mails, spelling mistakes in the software. USB is slower than it ought to be. All a bit dodgy ... Read More

I got this player for my birthday in Oct 07. It's my first MP3 player, bought primarily to overcome the lack of multi CD changer in my car. I've had to try a few CD to MP3 conversion software packages to get one that can increase the volume of tracks stored, as most tracks left un-altered have a noticeable hiss in the background when transmitted via FM (I've found that +2dB is about right for most tracks).
