I bought this player and then discovered that the software (Samsung Studio 5) was incompatible with Vista BUT a quick visit to the Samsung home page allowed me to download the appropriate updated software. No prob! Since then it has been an extremely happy relationship between myself and the 4gb K5. Can't really fault it, although I cannot help thinking that the .jpg photo viewing facility was an 'add on'. I've got one of these players and I hate it!
Bad points:
At the beginning of a track there is a fade in - on every track - why? You can't turn it off either IT IS SOOOOO ANNOYING!!!
The player has a built-in speaker that I never use. It makes it twice the size that it should be - I find it pointless.
You don't get a belt clip with it either - you can buy one for £30 if you feel like shelling out.

I have now owned this device for a year - It has improved the quality of my life as I can now listen to podcasts whilst shaving and cooking. It is a little more bulky than the majority of players but then that is not really an issue for me.
As somebody else has mentioned, there is no delete function internally so you have to do this through the computer. I find 4GB to be adequate to this point if you use a computer regularly then it is easy to swap music. There is OK software with the ... Read More
