Despite of what everyone else says I have one word for this player; crap.
Why you ask , two reasons 1. no playlist capability, there is no way of arranging your tunes even if you put them into folders, they arrange by name, even worse it doesn't recognise pls, or m3u files. what the hell is that about.
2. At twelve hours playtime is no good for me less than 15 hours playtime is unacceptable. i would not rate this player higher than a 6/10.

What a fantastic little player. The ease of use and sound of this MP3 player is far better than I had imagined prior to purchase. I also have a 30GB Creative ZEN and this little Samsung sounds just as good, if not better. The software that comes with it is a little basic, but still user friendly. I'm very pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone.

I've had this MP-3 player now for about 15 months and it's simply superb.
The ease of downloading songs is great, it's small, lightweight but robust. The USB port is great and the microphone for recording dictaphone-like conversations is also excellent - quite a useful facility as well as the fact it can be used as a memory stick. I have never had any problems with the USB part of it unlike another reviewer.

I'm very pleased with this mp3. It arrived no hassle and I was able to put songs on it straight away very easy to use. Sounds good and the headphones are quite long aswell which is good. Overall this is a very good mp3 player.

I've had the 2GB version for about 6 months and am pleased with my choice for my first player. Easy to transfer songs with or without using the supplied software and the sound is great using the supplied earphones. Battery life is good and you can also use the (compact)apple i-pod charger when you go away by plugging the USB connector directly into the charger.
