i wanted an mp3 player that ran on a battery. the battery life is approx 16hours and only uses a small AAA battery. I like to do long cycle rides and don't want to run out of power and then need eg a power socket to recharge it. So I keep a spare battery with me.
I made up 3 different folders of music. It plays tracks alphabetically in a folder so I prefix my track names with aa, ab, ac etc. Then I just move between folders as the mood takes me. There is no hard disc to go wrong. It links in ... Read More

It's a briliant product serving as an mp3 player and a memory stick, so many times it has saved my life in an emergency (albiet and emergency involving the need of memory :)) i would recomend it to anyone who just wants a small mp3 player around and doensnt need more than a gig. i love it:)

This was the first MP3 Player i'd ever had, and after reading good reviews about the easiness of use, I decided to buy it.
It's sooo easy to use, and one AAA battery lasts for ages!
Creative's customer service is the best I have EVER had the fortune to contact - I had a problem when I stupidly took the battery out of it when it was turned on, and all the music got wiped - A nice man from Creative guided me through the steps to re install the firmware - well done Creative - your customer ... Time to transfer 109mb album using USB1 port was 155 sec and using USB2 port was 65 sec.This was faster but not 10 times faster as it would be if true USB2 speed.I think the bottle neck is with the software on the player. (from creative website)These players sort by filename,they depend on the file names to sort the tracks.if it is important that the files are played in the correct order your files should be in the following format:
