Rating:  - Great player but struggles with age
This was my first MP3 player and it is still going after nearly 5 years, albeit slightly less portable then it used to be.
Firstly Creative have developed a very well built player which is sturdy and robust, although slightly big compared to newer models on the market. The creative software it comes with is also very easy to use and makes the whole process of copying music ridiculously simple, even for those who are technophobes.

i've owned one for about 3 and 1/2 years now and just wanted to add to the many reviews of this wonderful product.
about the sensitivity of the touch pad... i wanted to download pod cast so i went to the creative website and downloaded the latest firmware for the product...what did i get?? and better mp3 player.i know can download pod cats but it has also sorted out sensitivity of the touch pad... so i would say if you find it too sensitive then donload the latest firmware.

WOULD ADVISE ANYONE PURCHASING THIS TO DOWNLOAD ALL NEW SOFTWARE ETC. FROM CREATIVE WEBSITE BEFORE YOU LOAD YOUR MUSIC ONTO IT , IF YOU DO YOU WON'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS IN THE FUTURE.

I bought this item in 2005 and have used it quite a lot. However it has been increasingly difficult to connect the device to my PC over the last year or so. I have tried reinstalling the software and going through the suggestions in the help sections. My time would have been better spent buying a new one but I'm not sure if I'd go for another product by Creative. WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT THE ZEN TOUCH? IT'S A LOT CHEAPER THAN AN EQUIVALENT I- POD ( A HELL OF A LOT CHEAPER IF YOU GO TO CLEARANCE BARGAINS (ARGOS END OF RANGE SHOP) AT ABOUT £49.99).
BUILD QUALITY IS VERY GOOD. VERY EASY TO USE VIA ON SCREEN MENU.
I WOULD ADVISE DOWNLOADING ALL CURRENT SOFTWARE UPDATES FROM CREATIVE PRIOR TO LOADING YOUR MUSIC ONTO IT, BUT OVERALL I THINK IT'S BRILLIANT.
