Rating: - Great Sound Quality/design... Shame about song space
I was very excited when i bought the ibead mp3 player, it was stylish and small and very fashionable, when i tried putting songs on it i could only put about max. 30 when it says you can put up to 6 CDs worth and exactly what that guy said about, you have to play them at like 64khz to get more than 30 and you cant change that setting on downloaded mp3s. also this isnt value for money as you can now get much more value if u buy the ipod mini or something like that. i bought mine way before the ipod ... Rating: - Absolute Rubbish!
I expected an MP3 player which could fit loads of songs onto it. But it can't. My i-BEAD could only fit a maximum of 30 songs! Then you complain and realise all of your recordings have to be at 64kbps or less in order for it to hold the specified amount! And this you can't change on downloaded MP3's. The sound quality is good, and use of radio, and saving documents. But then with the saving of documents, it means even less songs can be fitted onto the MP3 player! Very dissapointed. Rating: - Just how technology should be!
Concur with everyone else. Actually got the 256MB version but same unit. Installs with no work at all (XP), you can be loading up songs in minutes; no need for the manual! Necklace earphones are great although if you want to go running it might bounce around on your chest a bit. User interface is nice and simple and clear once you spend the five minutes working out what the buttons do (OK, maybe one quick read of the manual!). Rating: - The biggest surprises come in small packages
Firstly i would like to commend the great level of service - bought my i-bead 10am on tuesday arrived just after 12pm the next day :)
Opened it up and a quick read of the manual confirmed my initial prediction that it wasnt going to be hard to use. Im on XP so you just plug it in XP detects its there and straight away you can use it - very easy. Also upgrading the software is extremely easy but my current version (3.51 afaik) is fine.

The number of functions on this player just goes on and on. You can even balance the EQ while it's playing! Or perhaps record a track from the FM radio to play later (.WAV file). Maybe you just want to delete some files to make space for that inspired moment when you realise the meaning of life and wish to record it via the voice recorder.
