Rating: - the ultimate conpanion for that long journey to school!
i've had my rio 600se for three months now, and i couldn't be happier!! where shall i start?
THE PORTABILITY- light as a feather, although not as tiny as some other players, but ideal for me, as i would probably lose it if it was much smaller.
THE MEMORY- you'd be surprised how little memory you actually need! the 64MB on-board memory will easily hold three full albums(in WMA format) at highest possible quality!!

It came today, the delivery service was excelent i must say! the delivery date was estimated 5th august! and it was early.
Down to the point. My first thoughts when i opened the box was yeah, nice. i thought it looked a bit cheap to start with, but now i know what this little bueaty does! i love it.
I'm not up to date with all the mp3 stuff, and all the latest computer stuff so i thought choosing a mp3 player was a hard..ish process, but with amazon found it easier than walking the ... Read More

I've been looking round for an MP3 player for while, for portability and to play in the car. And this came out on top all the time. So ordered one with the cassette adapater. Easy to install and a quality sound. The headphones aren't bad at all.
Only a couple of things. When charging the backpacks, I was unable to use the player while it was charging. And the Rio software is good but not brilliant and I would change a few things.

Okay here it is simply:-
Sound - Excellent, either with headphones or in car adapter.
Software - Easy. I run win 2000 and had no problem with installing and connection. The software has a few niggles but I'm sure it's only cause I need to RTFM.
Accessories - Headphones, look good and sound good, USB cable easy and durable, holder snug, no fear of this falling out.
Complaints - only one, When I bought this for £129 it didn't come with the free memory upgrade of 32MB. ... Read More
Rating: - Top Quality!
I only have this MP3 Player a few days and I think it's great. The sound quality is perfect (use 128K when recording, although it eats up space). The interface is great, the buttons are easy and the unit is good and solid. Head phones are good, also. The prices is very reasonable, and I highly recommend this player. Well done Rio!
